Lately it seems like everyone and their mom has a blog of somesort - and I was thinking y'all must be part of that culture too. So, we should post them all in one place and check out the World Of Blogs. I happen to have two - a Livejournal and a Fotolog. Cause you know we all need more to look at on the Internet! 
Anyway, please post em if you got em. I am curious!

Well, a log is made of wood, but a journal is generally made of paper, so...I'm not really sure where I'm going with this.

Well, some people do share some really personal information on their blogs. Then again, some people share what I would consider to be really personal information on this forum, so I guess it's largely a matter of perspective. Most of what I write isn't all that personal. I do my fair share of writing about what I do and complaining about stuff, but it's not, like, a record of my innermost thoughts and feelings or whatever. A lot of my entries are about TV shows and music. I'm sure most of it is really boring, but it's not really like a diary.

I'm largely the same way in terms of writing to keep in practice, but I do want people to read it. I like attention.

But "blog" is short for "weblog," and isn't a journal pretty much the same thing as a log?
By the way, my blog is at http://vovat.blogspot.com, and my livejournal is at http://www.livejournal.com/users/vovat. It's usually the same stuff in both.

The best blogs are by people who have no friends or life. You know it's going to be good when they tell you to return often because they will update it daily. Then the entries get farther and farther apart. Finally their hit counter reveals no one is reading or cares about their minutiae and they give up completely. |

so many people seem to have blogs now, all seems a bit "look at my problems, i don't have friends in real life, please be my friend and take pity on me and feel sorry for me" kinda thing... most are so dull. some are funny, but most are moaning teenagers who hate their parents and feel alone.
i'm not nasty, just hanging around on project rockstar, it's full of the miserable parent-hating-they-don't-understand-me-i'm-a-rock-kid-with-no-friends-i'm-so-alternative-and-different twats.
