Posted - 05/18/2004 : 03:12:19 because substance has never been your fondest friend, and lack of credibility has left you wondering why it is you continue breathing valuable oxygen, you find yourself flipping through the sunday newspaper obituaries thinking that when your day comes and you draw your final breath who will it be to write a couple of short paragraphs summing up your shorter and echoingly insignificant existance on this earth in this temporary-est of temporary forms.
how many days have you spent sitting, wondering, wasting, complaining, dog fucking, doddeling, day dreaming, procrastinating, "ill get around"-ing to it?
how many people have you never called, avoided, lied to, brushed off, ignored, politely dismissed, or quite simply and honestly "dun fergot"?
forgetting to forget all those things that simple obituaries leave to the imagination.
how many times did he lock his kesy in his car. how she loved a single red rose so. how he aspired to be something more. when her parents came from germany, her parents met and fell in love on the boat.
lost and forgotten our beautifully subtle details in 15 plain lines. |

Posted - 05/18/2004 : 23:12:36 i think you are high on something. i could be wrong. you could be in college, sober and full of angst. i would bet on high though, and perhaps drunk.
i want my obituary written in invisible ink on the hearts of those who love me. seriously.
no judgement. i'm high right now.
relax, eh.
life is for the living.
what makes you truly happy?
i don't really want to know, but you might.
think about it.
warm wishes and fond regards,
