chances are, if you are here a lot, you are lonely.

its so bizarre.

modern society, the superhighway and all that.

we're no longer forced to keep each other company.
(physical labor of the masses)

as the world transitions from body to mind, where does the heart go?

granted, a western perspective...

Probably largely due to the movie, since Judy Garland is a gay icon, and there's all that talk about rainbows. There are a lot of gay fans of the books as well, though. There have been articles and presentations on the Oz/homosexual connection, but I can't remember the points that were made just now.

Nevermind. But Oz is really great. I just wonder why it's always chosen by the homosexuals to represent them...

I keep feeling like people are just looking at screens and web sites all the time, but do they ever do anything? Or go out and say anything to anyone? I'm not so sure anymore.

There are several Oz books where things are animated using a Powder of Life, but I can't recall anything specifically about wooden puppets. Maybe you're thinking of Jack Pumpkinhead and the Sawhorse in The Land of Oz?

I read another one of them, where a villain makes wooden puppets come to life with a magic powder. It's really great.

I must say I love fairy tales. Except the Grimm brothers, I never liked their morbid stories. But Andersen, oh yes. It is still my favorite writer, I think.

Yeah, Baum was the guy who wrote The Wizard of Oz, as well as thirteen other Oz books. Don't get me started on Oz, or you'll never hear the end of it.

I agree with you. Come on, if it's Jason, at least he seems to be nicer than the Jason from before...and if he/she turns out to be not so nice after all, he/she will get banned...

Look, if it is Jason or whoever, let him have his silly games, its him that looks like an idiot. If its not, you've just spent an entire thread insulting some random person. Just leave her be already!

Is Frank Baum the guy who wrote The wizard of Oz? One of my favorite books when I was 7 or 8.

I think this lady could be interesting irregardless of anything else. If she isn't legit what does anyone have to lose? Being told once again that they've been had? That shit didn't really bother me too much.

As I said before, if she is a liar, she's a fucking psycho...I'm talking about a seriously sick person.

Do they have access to the internet in psychiatrical hospitals?

Of course that could be a good way of getting everyone to drop it.

Anyway Adnan, what details? Do you have something to share with the class?

oh geez.

isp? keep digging, brother. i am confident of what you'll find, even though i'm not sure what that is as i am, for the most part, computer illiterate.

this computer used to be in an elementary school in aberdeen, south dakota. if one of the students liked this website, perhaps that's it.

otherwise, i have never been here before, and i'm irritated with your skepticism.

whatever the people did before it must have been something!

now imagine for a minute that you're me, and you're exactly who you say you are. you find this cool site where you're expressing yourself, and loving it. now imagine people saying you're a liar, and a guy!

i would say that i don't care what you think, but actually i'm irritated.

warm wishes and fond regards,

betty

By this you were suggesting that there was the possibility, at some point, of Dean having been normal? What planet are you on?

I imagine him more as one of these role-playing, dressing-up kind of sci-fi geeks. I bet he has a full stormtrooper uniform and speaks fluent Klingon.

Heh heh, I've often been told that I look like Dustin Hoffman. If, by often, one can mean never. So, if you made Dustin Hoffman into an AD&D Level 9 Dungeon Master (is there such a thing?) then you might have the Dean man.

Actually, it's not so much the IP as the ISP that I remember. Which in itself doesn't mean much... but is much easier to remember. :)

And I'm not a chess champion, sadly, though I almost won provincials in 6th grade. Which is pretty much the same thing. :)
