This film has just started on Channel 4 now. Anyone seen it?

I really enjoyed it when I saw it at the cinema. Not sure if I will stay up and watch it all though, see if it's as good as I remember.

Violent but funny.

I just learned about the Chicken Royale in the fast food thread, so I was confused.

I am a man with 3 fingers...but that doesn't count my index finger nor my thumb.

No! It's a Chicken Royale here too. There's a lot more blood in Battle Royale.

Is this kind of like the Chicken Royale at Burger King, for all you UKers?

If that was her, she looked older and taller than she does in kill bill

she was the girl that was jogging and the guy who liked her tried to be with her, and so was all like 'I will have to assume you're deadly, and kick your ass.' And then see stabbed him in the crotch a bunch of times. And then see was shot, and died, and told her old boyfriend that he looked so cool, to which he replied 'you're the coolest girl ever.' or something like that

Whenever that seen comes on, my little brother starts screaming GO-GOOOOOOOO! like he was at a football game or something

It was quite cool highly entertaining and um....different. I kept looking out for people from kill bill. Which one was go-go?

I really want to see it, so hopefully they'll eventually release a decent version here in America.

Such a cool film, just finished watching it. It's the second time i've seen it. What is it about Japanese school girls!? I have to say the massacre in the light house is one of my favorite parts, Japanese school girls blowing each other apart with uzis should'nt be so entertaining, but it is! Go-go Yubari is in Kill Bill(or thats her characters name, can't remember). It's pretty funny watching the usual petty school cliques like the nerds and the cool people transposed to a death match senario with bucket loads of blood thrown in, Japanese style. Reflects alot on the pressure students are under in Japanese schools to succed and the social isolation and violance it causes.

The damn movie has go-go yubari in it. Shucks, you don't get much cooler then that.

The sequel is out on dvd in asia. I know that there are subtitled version available, since I have one. They're also not available in the U.S. Which might be a good thing, since the movie is very anti-America. They keep referring to 'that country' and their fight against terrorist and they live in fear of an attack and the impossible ending finds the survivors on afganistan. Oh, and the beginning is a rip off of saving private ryan. Cool, but not nearly as good as the origional.

Sequel? Not seen it. Is that out over here? Was it in the cinemas?

I am enjoying watching the original again at the mo. I think I may stay up and watch it all. That kid's head has just exploded.

WATCH! WATCH! WATCH! Its so much fun, but it can't get released in the US. Such a shame.

I'm kind of on the fence about the sequel, though. Even though it had Sonny CHiba.
