Great performer. I've seen him several times. I met him briefly once. He was very friendly, and gave me his autograph. He seemed like a really good guy. |

I've never heard any of his stuff, but John Cale has produced some of his bands albums in the 70's, and he has appeared with Cale on some of his solo albums. Cale also does a version of his song "Pablo Picasso" (which is awesome, btw). David Bowie recently covered it, as well.

Virginia... I'm sure he's played there before. Heck, he's played in my hometown (Asheville, NC). But, I know what you mean. Seems like all the surrounding states get hit by the good bands, but not your state.

man! that guy has energy! he can't have been back in the US for long since his UK tour! if he's playing anywhere near you and you haven't seen him yet, even if you don't know any of his stuff, buy yourself a ticket and get the fuck down there! amazing guy.
