Posted - 05/03/2004 : 02:57:46 I really liked the film (Requiem). Aronofsky did a great job on that one (I didn't like his first film, Pi, which I perceived like a copy of Eraserhead). I don't take any drugs (that's probably why I'm so fascinated by the books who cover the subject) but some guys who do told me that he really describes what you see when you're stoned.

Posted - 05/02/2004 : 10:51:05 I've forgotten he wrote Requiem. The film was pretty good.
I saw Last Exit before I read the book. The film made a huge impression on me way back when I saw it but the book was even more powerfull. I must read it again soon.

Posted - 04/27/2004 : 13:49:49 Very sad news to know the creator of Tralala and Georgette has died. Thanks to Lou Reed's enthusiasm for Selby's Last Exit To Brooklyn I read it and it was unforgettable.
