who's hannah?
Well, I gather from the exclamation that she's someone particularly holy. Perhaps Joseph Hanna of the Hanna-Barbera cartoon studio.

Posted - 04/28/2004 : 17:35:23 Geez...I wish I were having that problem in Canada. It's supposed to be spring but it almost snowed yesterday. I shouted "You've GOT to be KIDDING."at the sky... The other bus travellers were a little worried.

Posted - 04/28/2004 : 17:24:29 Last year we got a record high here of 40C, so about 100F. That was almost unbearable for us, but bring it on anyway! I'd love to be somewhere that was that hot in April...

Posted - 04/28/2004 : 15:21:02 I feel for you BLT. Tho Phx. is only tipping the 100 mark now and usually does 120 by summers end. I'm just wondering how Indio will be this weekend. Supposed to be cooling in Phx this weekend, however.
Just stoked to find out about a Sept. show in Mesa, so I don't have to sweat it out just yet.

Posted - 04/27/2004 : 09:32:25 50C (122F) would be very common in Death Valley, which is reputedly the hottest place in the western hemisphere. It's certainly not normal around LA. The hottest I can remember in LA was around 114. But my point is that 100 and it's only April. I wouldn't be complaining if it was August or September because I'd expect it.

Posted - 04/27/2004 : 08:44:30 To the best of my knowledge, yes. It was 50 celsius here last August but seeing as pretty much the whole country takes that month off, remaining upright isn't a priority. You get used to it, like you get used to anything, tho the first few days I was getting out of bed in the mornings and I'd make it as far as the porch before crumpling there for another few hours.

125? Those are Death Valley type temps. Are you sure your Celsius to Fahrenheit conversion is right? |
