Saw Jonathan Richman last night. Amazing. Truly was. Fantastic. Just Jonathan on acoustic guitar with a drummer... Lots of banter in between songs and some crazy dancing to drum solos! hehe! was a very small club too, so was pretty ace!

was great, but i left feeling (and saying to my g/f) how much i'd love to see frank do something like that. he seems to do it all the time over there in the US, but we don't seem to get those Frank and his acoustic guitar solo sets over here. which is a shame... it's very refreshing to see someone with so much talent just to get up there, on their own (or with just one other guy) and play. it's like, "this is me, these are my songs, hope you like them."

I'd love to see Jonathan Richman, hopefully he comes some place close by in the near future. I almost went to see him in DC awhile back.
