Posted - 04/09/2004 : 14:50:25 I just got home to my folks house this morning, in the middle of the Hampshire countryside. The sun was shining, and I was able to take the dog for a walk and look at all the trees starting to bud, the first few butterflys, the general green loveliness of it all. I love living in the city, and I definitely wouldn't want to move back here, but it ain't half good to come back for a visit every now and then.
Jim, you have a lot to look forward to, by the summer its going to be wonderful. Is anywhere else this beautiful? I think there's nowhere else quite like it, but then I may be biased.

Posted - 04/10/2004 : 08:54:34 I think England in the spring is similar to New England in the spring. Similar weather and plant life. Anyway, it's pushing 60 today and the sun is shining. Things are starting to bloom. I even found some flowers to photograph and put on my fotolog. Wheee! |

Posted - 04/10/2004 : 07:14:32 Yeah, i dont think its gonna be (im hoping anyway...) as hot this year, but this spring has had some amazingly beautiful days.
Its a different kind of beauty in england, because you have all these amazing old building, that are just inceredible, but you also have the beautiful greenery, and (in brighton) the sea, which is gorgeous in the summer.
I love how everyone is just so happy in the summer, you just feel the vibes, man!
But ofcourse, that could be because everyone starts drinking earlier in the summer!!!!

Posted - 04/09/2004 : 17:59:45 I can't wait to experience it :) Pennsylvania (where I'm living) is a beautiful state. I haven't been much anywhere else in the US, but the scenery here is fucking amazing. The drive between where I'm at (State College) and where my sister is at (Camp Hill) is fucking AMAZING. I took a ton of pictures while driving (don't tell the cops!)...I should probably post them. Pictures don't do the drive justice, though. I'm sure England is just as beautiful as Pennsylvania. From the pictures, it sure seems like it.
