THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS ('99, '02, '03)- the best entertainers music has to offer!
PEARL JAM - ('94, '98, '03)the last(and best) of the grunge bands. 3 hour concerts!
PLACEBO - ('98)I saw them open for Stabbing Westward and they blew me away, I'd never heard of them, but now am a big fan.
FRANK BLACK and the CATHOLICS - ('02)Dog in the Sand tour, small club, pixies tunes, loud and long set, and David Lovering opened with his fantastic magic.
FOO FIGHTERS - ('03)Today's best alternative rock band, excellent show with awesome expanded versions of songs, loud and intense, Dave Grohl is hilarious.
WILCO - ('02, '03)Excellent musicians, perfect songwriting, and interesting live arrangements. They deserve all of their recent press.

No, but if you want to screw a girl, there are two options :
1) You are wearing a duffle coat
2) You have a nice puppy

Of course the third option is that you are Stuart Murdoch, in which case you have both.

I haven't really seen that many bands live. I've seen John Flynn, Weird Al, the Bobs, They Might Be Giants, Tori Amos, Hypnotic Clambake, Moxy Früvous, Erin McKeown, Neko Case, Sloan, Ben Folds, DaVinci's Notebook, Frank Black and the Catholics, Camper Van Beethoven, and Belle and Sebastian. I wasn't disppointed by any of them, although the sound quality was terrible at the Sloan show, and not that great at my first Tori show, either. The CVB concert was excellent overall, but maybe not that great for the band, since someone sprayed Mace at David Lowery. Hypnotic Clambake was a pleasant surprise. I really knew nothing about them, but the show was free, and it turned out to be amazing.

Join the Culf of Buttoms / Correctly spelled cults are so passé.
