Read the article, how can the guy who wrote Wake Me Up Go Go etc be afraid of being cheesy? Seems like he's already jumped the chasm, there's no need to get coy.

This is sort of scary but maybe if they do it somewhat "ironically" it will be funny. That Billy Joel musical is the most horrifying in my opinion. Has anyone seen the clips or commercials? They are so fucking earnest, I just want to gag. |

It would make more sense if the article said 'George Michael plans to turn the 'muzak' of Wham! into 'music'. Actually, they did have some good pop songs...gulp, did I say that?!
