http://www.americasarmy.com/

It actually seems really cool! I'm downloading it right now and was wondering if anyone else has it or has played it before? I've always been fed up with the "realism" of other Army/Navy/Special Forces games..so this should be breath of fresh air. (The "Experience WWII" Mod for Battlefield 1942 is probably the second closest thing.)

I was also thinking, since it seems we have quite a few pc gamers here, that we could have a squadron or something together. I don't know, just an idea.

Anywho...all of the stats and stuff that are kept are very impressive...it's a big download, though...668.3 MB's...haha. 14%....ooh! ooh! 15%.....

Oops, almost forgot: http://download.com.com/3000-7455-10255801.html?tag=lst-0-1

That's probably the fastest download you're going to get for it.

I never played America's Army cause it was developed by the Army as Army recruitment software and released free. I'm somewhat over that now and a little curious to check it out. I don't like the fact that you have to register and log in...tracking who's using it? I don't like that at all.

If you're looking for realism, any Tom Clancy game will do (Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon).

I used to play the original Wolfenstein, great game although at times I used to feel dizzy and sick due to the movement on the screen.

I recently purchased Commandos 3 - Destination Berlin, but so far I have found it very very difficult. Has anyone got this game?

Cheers for the link Crouton... I'll check this one out when my broadband comes through next week.

A friend of mine said he was gonna burn me a copy (he said it was very good) but he still hasn't. To be honest though, I try not to play such games too much 'cos they are so damn addictive and prevent me from playing my guitar. I used to play Return To Castle Wolfenstein like mad and got pretty good at it on certain maps. I haven't played it for a few months now. I knew it was time to cool it when I was top scoring a lot and getting asked to join clans. Great fun though.
