I don't know if anyone in here likes Weezer or not, but god am I glad this isn't like their message board. For people that say they're fans they do nothing but talk endless amount of shit about Rivers and the crew. I mean my god, imagine if everyone here beat the living shit out of Frank because Trompe Le Monde wasn't as good as the rest of the Pixies albums. Or if we busted his balls for not making more albums that sounded like Teenager of the Year, instead of trying something new. I'm sure Frank would have slapped us around for trying to restrict his artisic freedom.
I love Weezer, but I hate the fans my fucking God those kids are idiots. They call Pink Floyd boring and over rated for Christ sake!! I mean fuck!! What's wrong with these people. Just by listening to Weezer I can tell they're classic rock fans. Rivers needs to kick them in the nuts and tell them what's what. The first thing I'd say if my fans were doing this to me and my work would be, "Fuck you!! I'll write what I want to write, and if you're so stuck in the past that you can't except my styles of choice, fuck off and never listen to my shit again." That's why I love this board, it's all about love where as in their board it's about how much they suck now. I'm sure Rivers loves to read those posts.

I'm done with them, bunch of know-nothing spoiled bitches. If they only knew what's it's actually like to be an artist they would take back everything they said. Maybe I'm just taking it to personally, I tend to do that when you attack something close to me. I do the same when someone attacks Frank and the Pixies.
And Floyd rules!! Unless your into more faster pace music. They are a slow jam band, I model my guitar playing to David Gilmour. Lol, I'm suppose to be working but I'm on here instead I'm like "fuck you" man and I won't do what you want me to do because I'm lazy... I'm going nowhere with this am I... i read somewhere that on the weezer board they get rare unreleased stuff from the band and then they won't share with fans that are not registered or something.if that's true they suck.not that i care about weezer rare stuff.i find them quite dull as a band.

I visited it once and was turned off immediately. I was reading a thread "Who should weezer tour with?" and some of the people's suggestions made me sick.
I saw someone mention Creed. And there were many worse bands too. I hate the fact that people with no taste like one of the bands that I have loved for 9 years.

There's certainly a fair amount of criticism on this board, but I think it's generally more respectful than on a lot of music forums. I've never looked at the Weezer board specifically, but any number of forums dedicated to bands seem to have a good number of members who do nothing but bitch about how the most recent albums are crappy. When called on this, they'll often reply with something like, "Do I have to like everything the band puts out?" And of course they don't, but there are polite and rude ways of criticizing something.

I liked to go on the weezer board before the green album, after that it just got silly. When it was hacked I just gave up.
