just to pollute the board more:
this friday night, 3/12
.morning theft.
middleeast downstairs
w/the bocks, blue letter days, malvern
we (morning theft) are on first, right at 9pm. doors are at 8pm. if it helps any, everyone says our band sounds like the pixies and psychadelic furs. and some cure. we're gonna have free CDs with new songs featuring our new band members. i'm hoping we get our buttons by then so any of you emo people can wear our 1-inch buttons on yo' jackets and bags. but seriously, if you can make it out, please come and say hi. we'll love you.

It's EMO as in Emotion - the defintion I found online says: "Punk sub-genre. Hardcore bands that are more focused on emotion than anger or politics."
I don't know if I would call Emo "hardcore" but that might just be me. Anyway...

i always thought emo, was w/ a h(emoh). i am not emo, so i would not know, but a band i once knew was named HOME, and they were emo i think. i did not even know of emo then, i dont even know if i do now, maybe i am emo. im confused. back to HOME, backwards EMOH. I did like their music so i guess that i am...
