Ah, so many live concerts, so little time. I know I've posted a link to this before, but since we have so many newbies, I thought I'd do so again.
The CBC records various concerts all over Canada and puts them online. Here you can find live concerts from people like Frank Black, Ween, The New Pornographers, Breeders, Calexico, White Stripes, you name it, recorded live in the venue, professionally mastered, and provided free for your streaming delight:

I'm Dean the "stupid-head" from the Simpsons and bestandworst.com.
I was talking to the producer of justconcerts.com/RootsMusicCanada.com and he said that recording Pixies' " Prairie gigs [has] been discussed as a something to think about" but emphasised that it was still only a thought at this point.
I'd love to see them record some of these first shows, they do a great job and certainly better than I could do with a microphone in my trousers. :)

Ooh, get you, name dropping and all. I could probably name a whole bunch of my mates in bands you've never heard of and you'd be none the wiser.
However, if you're good friends with Carl, does that make you Lenny? Cos I thought you were Big Stupid Dean.
