Posted - 03/20/2004 : 07:50:05 I just looked at Davidbowie.com and it says he's playing in Atlanta. I can't express how excited I am. May 8!!! I can hardly wait! And the venue (Chastain Park Amphitheatre) is quite small for an outdoor amphitheatre. Now I just need to get the new album so I'll know the songs. I've heard the new album, but only once.

I don't know, with the exchange rates and all....
Is he even coming to Canada? Probably just TO. grrrr.
He's playing Calgary, but I'm not sure if there are any tickets left. It was supposed to have happened by now, but he got the flu and postponed it. A whole bunch of people I know are going, and it sounds like tickets are somewhere around $90. I don't remember exactly when it's happening, but I'm sure you could find out. Is that close enough?
Nothing is ever something.
Calgary?!!! How come I'm never aware of these things beforehand, damnit! Oh and thanks Crispy. |

Posted - 01/06/2004 : 20:33:01 All these gigs that are coming up (with the rumoured Pixies tour) makes me think that I'm gonna return to the UK for good soon. I well miss gigs and being able to listen to good music live... and without sounding like a racist I am starting to lose my patience with having to live in a country where so many people have absolutely no common sense and a wealth of ignorance.

Posted - 01/06/2004 : 13:53:12 Two of my best friends planned to go before Christmas and then Bowie got the flu and postponed the show. Now it is not until March 31st which seems like forever away. |

Posted - 01/06/2004 : 05:46:54 Well, anything is worth what someone is prepared to pay for it. I must admit though, that driving to the show I wasn't particularly looking forward to it but as soon as I heard the opening chords of "All The Young Dudes" I didn't regret the expense one bit. |

Posted - 01/06/2004 : 05:36:11 I love Bowie and both of the new records, but no one, and I mean no one...is worth that much money for one show.

Posted - 01/06/2004 : 05:04:04 I went to one of the gigs over here - I must say it was outstanding, but I'm a long-term fan. If you are too, don't hesitate - he's on excellent form. |
