Just kidding.
Was actually about to suggest this so was saddened to see that you were kidding!
It's not perfect (in my opinion the following year's 'The Marshall Mathers LP' was very close to perfect!) but some of the lyrics here are brilliant. Admittedly some not so great, I think there are quite a few corny songs but I can still enjoy them from time to time. The Slim Shady character was the perfect outlet for the cartoon violence mixed with sometimes genuine venom and discontent that existed in Eminem's mind.

Posted - 01/23/2014 : 02:37:19 Quite a 'thin' year this one, but still some good releases. Maybe artists/bands were saving up for the millennium?
My favourite is Cobra and Phases Group Play Voltage in The Milky Night by Stereolab. A much better album than some of the reviews suggested (including another stupid one from Pitchfork)
Then
Kristin Hersh - Sky Motel FB&TC - Pistolero Invincible - Venus Beta Band - 3eps Sigur Ros - Agaetis Byrjun Mr Bungle - California
Whoops, forgot to include The Fall - The Marshall Suite |

and go out and buy some of that 90's crap i listed; it will fill your empty heart, i promise.
I do have Terror Twilight and Soft Bulletin. For some reason though, I never got into the latter. I know it's supposed to be one of their best; I don't think I gave it enough time.
