impacts my job. i work for a chemical company with lots of customers in the US - we have FDA and EPA processes to follow that are affected. anybody else adversely affected personal or professional? i heard there is no guarantee that the 800000 employees will be paid during the down time.

I enjoy watching the Republican "leadership" being forced into identifying themselves ideologically. Democrats appear to be comfortable with publicly expressing their progressive/liberal agenda while professional politicians on the "right" are unwilling to commit to their base .There seems to be two sides, the ruling party and an opposition opposed to themselves. |

Tourists mad as hell in Puerto Rico because they can't enter the Spanish Forts and The Rain Forest.Obviously they didn't know that USA laws apply here as well.We are US citizens by law,our soldiers have died in ALL the wars but we are not allowed to vote for the President.Not nice to be war booty and lucky we didn't get get a dictator.And we got crummy politicians I might add that build schemes to steal all the federal funds and to complete all the drug lords families collect food stamps and live better than the working class.
