Saw Miracle Legion on Wednesday night. Amazing show - Mark Mulcahy has some voice and is so intense on stage. His guitar playing isn't bad either! Both ex Catholics Scott and Dave were in fine form too. Ray Neal is one of the finest guitarists I have had the pleasure to see live.
Got to meet Mark after too, such a nice humble guy, this band should be playing huge sold out venues. |

wouldn't have even known they were coming if there wasn't an annoying hipster couple hogging the new arrivals (used) bin at one of my local record shops (the kind that sells tix to poorly promoted gigs); as i waited patiently i read the upcoming shows flyer and....

it was a good show. although i was 20 minutes late and it only lasted abt 45 mins once i got there - i saw 3 out of the 4 songs above. and i wanna be a girl was the most crowd pleasingest.
currently not holding anything but pixies tickets. will have to check pollstar...

I keep hearing about King Khan cause I love the Dirtbombs and they seem quite close, but I've never listened to their stuff. Is the new album good?

Blur have shunned Vancouver for years. I've seen them twice here (and once at Reading) but I think something happened cause they ALWAYS seem to skip this city. must check their itinerary...
