The wind blows hard against this mountain side Across the sea into my soul It reaches into where I cannot hide Setting my feet upon the road
My heart is old, it holds my memories My body burns a gemlike flame Somewhere between the soul and soft machine Is where I find myself again
Kyrie eleison, down the road that I must travel Kyrie eleison, through the darkness of the night Kyrie eleison, where I'm going, will you follow? Kyrie eleison, on a highway in the light
When I was young I thought of growing old Of what my life would mean to me Would I have followed down my chosen road Or only wished what I could be
Kyrie eleison, down the road that I must travel Kyrie eleison, through the darkness of the night Kyrie eleison, where I'm going, will you follow? Kyrie eleison, on a highway in the light
Analysis: if i knew what the fuck "eleison" meant i might be help out a bit here, but sadly i don't have a clue. This doesn't prevent me from bellowing this classic from the shower some mornings. A- (only cause i don't know what "eleison" is)

Posted - 04/22/2013 : 02:53:26 It took me awhile, but I finally figured out what song you were talking about. (I don't have access to youtube at work.) I always thought he said 'Carry E and lays'.

Posted - 04/22/2013 : 02:47:28 Not much different than singing 'i am un chien andalusia' or 'Vamos a jugar por la playa'. I should have known what the second one meant since I spent 8 months in Puerto Rico in 1988. But I used to sing 'Momma said, 'Ooh that boys on fire.' Silly American.
I say, sing loud and proud just don't sing in my ear at a concert.
