is the greatest guitarist who ever lived, and who still lives. He built his own guitar, and played it, like this____>

Do you know anyone, dead or alive, who can or could rock the shit out of a guitar like this guy did?

Name me one.

I also second Donald "Buck Dharma" Roeser. He's from Blue Öyster Cult if you didn't know.
He and Brian are from the same time period. Probably similar age. Buck knew when it was time to cut his hair.

I saw BÖC when I was 18 and stood right at the front of the stage. I swear Buck Dharma only looked down at his guitar once during the two-hour set. And the mofo didn't miss a note! He's incredible.

Ah Lyle Workman, of course I thought you said Larry Walker!

Anyway, just because you know the name of every single guitarist that has ever lived still does not mean Seven Seas of Rye isn't the greatest rock song of all time.

I'm more impressed by his Ph.D in astrophysics.

If you don't know of Lyle Workman what are you doing on this board??? Not for the music I take it. The rest of those guys aren't exactly playing in cover bands down your local pub.

Even Fripp said Sensible is a "superb" guitarist. (Which must be a bit like Bowie covering one your songs.) Listen to any Damned material recorded from '79-'82.

I hate to knock May, of course he's a fine guitarist, but most Queen stuff is so overproduced it barely sounds like it was played by living organisms.

OK I'll give you Jimmy Page. No fucking idea who the rest of those guys are though lol, apart from Captain Sensible. I bought one of his 7" singles when I was a boy, can't remember the name of the song though now.

Vague recollection of watching some of the song remains the same live video the other night while I was drunk and wowing at it too. Seven Seas of Rye got about 7 plays though I think, that's one my ultimate drunken faves..
