Posted - 08/20/2011 : 15:52:24 i know maybe it really does not mean much on who is in or who is not in but who do you think should be in the rock and roll hall of fame? i post this question after listening to warren zevon, without thinking much about it i would have to say he would be my first choice on who should be in. anyone agree? also who would be your first choice?
by the way i really miss everyone on this website it seems none of us visit or post on here as much as we used to. we should have a day kind of a reunion of sorts and everyone come back and visit. take care my friends hope all is well

There's nobody under X!
I'm not sure why Rush isn't there, it looks like only the first Heavy Metal groups are in, not even Deep Purple, then it skips to Van Halen? Deep Purple needs to be in before Judas Priest or Iron Maiden, who ought to be in as no boy my age escaped their influence.
Dead Kennedys should make it on this criteria:
"To be eligible for induction as an artist (as a performer, composer, or musician) into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the artist must have released a record, in the generally accepted sense of that phrase, at least 25 years prior to the year of induction; and have demonstrated unquestionable musical excellence.
We shall consider factors such as an artist's musical influence on other artists, length and depth of career and the body of work, innovation and superiority in style and technique, but musical excellence shall be the essential qualification of induction." |
