to recommend another spoon album, "girls can tell" seems to me to have the most in common with the new album. you would be doing yourself a world of good to pick up Girls Can Tell, Kill The Moonlight, Gimme Fiction, and/or GaGaGaGaGa.

I'm going to buy some tunes this evening on iTunes for a chance of being the 10 billionth downloader and winning 10K's worth of free music, and the counter is fast approaching the magic number! Albums with 10 songs on them preferably so that I can buy each tune individually, every ten or 20 seconds as the counter goes over 10B... |

They remind me a bit of Barbie Bangkok, who have probably been influenced by them, the vocals are quite similar.
Do all their albums sound like this? I like the funky bass lines. |

i love it. i always get nervous when a new spoon album is released because it's so hard to believe that they won't start slipping at some point. thankfully my worries are always put to rest. the new album is superb.
