3:15 into the video when the guy's phone rings. Hilarious!

I've got to agree with Roy Keane on this one.

Asking for a re-match is just ridiculous. Some decisions go for you, some go against you.

Take the ridiculous penalty decision going Ireland's way earlier in qualifying. Surely video evidence would have cleared that one up pretty quickly too?

Good luck to France and Thierry Henry. I'd like them to win the world cup should Honduras or England somehow fail to win it.

As everyone else has said, why can't there be a video official, as with rugby? And no re-matches?
It's a fucking disgrace.

At work, and I've just seen a patient who is a Swedish football nut with an alcohol problem. I don't rate his chances of staying off the bottle after last night.

Good luck against Bahrain in Wellington, Benji. Nice home advantage for the decider...go the All Whites!
benji Posted - 10/10/2009 : 21:19:38

Only group winners qualify automatically. The eight best runners-up go into four two-legged play-off matches.
darwin Posted - 10/07/2009 : 08:19:28
Top 2 move on? Do the remaining best teams have any other opportunities?
kelladwella Posted - 10/07/2009 : 06:14:04
The european qualifying enters crunch time next saturday. Only two matches left for most of the teams.

And the russians play all their home games on artificial turf...
