It is great. I don't like it as much as the last one (Beyond), but there are really great, new tunes on it. They don't copy their old work. Somehow it sounds like J.Mascis+the Fog beamed back to 70ies.

Read about it at pitchfork.com at the main site.

Nice video also:

Surprisingly, as much of a Dino junkie as I am, I'm having a hard time getting into this album. The only song I find good (REALLY good) is "Over It". "Beyond" sounds so much better to me.

And say "everybody...
you're not just a duck...
You are HUMAN! Go forth and THRASH!" - Thurston Moore

I saw them in London a couple of weeks ago about 20 years after seeing them when I was a student. I hadn't heard a lot of the new stuff but I thought it was up there with their earlier work. And live they are still awesomely, ear-trashingly, skull-poundingly loud!

Said The People really reminds me of another song, but I can't think what. IS it a cover version?

i think the opposite - farm is really strong with melodies. however, beyond has more momentum and sounds fresher. i really like the counterplay of drums+guitars on beyond.

lou's contributions are extremely good on both records. lighting bulb and your weather are outstanding to me. imagination blind - i hope they will play it more furiously on stage than on the record.

I think Beyond was a little bit better melodywise.
The two Lou compositions makes you want to pray for a new Sebadoh record.
