Obama is sitting in the catbird seat thanks to the wide spread use of marijuana. Hell I would go so far as to say he owes some part of his existence to marijuana. Why would any politician stick their neck out to legalize a substance that has already helped cloud or enchant the judgement of so many voters. Besides Barack's supporters will vote for him regardless. Not endorsing marijuana gets some of the votes he didn't get in 2008.
