Oh, and Lee Roth riding the giant microphone is pretty funny!

It wasn't a keyboard glitch. It was two strings on EVH's guitar that were seriously out of tune.
"Jump" was the encore and the final song, and instead of simply stopping, laughing it off, and winning over the crowd before restarting the song, he opted to barrel through it out of tune for the sake of not ending the night on an anti-climactic fuckup.
At the time, it blew my mind that he would knowingly play something so hideously out of whack, but I can also see why he thought "the show must go on."
The guy who's spreading that technical analysis of the dissonance (which has now been picked up and talked about all over the web) is shrewd, but unfortunately incorrect.
You'll note that DLR and Wolfgang are in tune with the keys (which are not sequenced, by the way, but played live by a guy onstage who is hidden from view).
Just thought I'd help clear things up.
