Posted - 10/24/2007 : 10:56:42 This is an excellent, very straight forward presentation by San Francisco architect Richard Gage, member of the AIA http://www.aia.org/ I had not seen this until last night. I found it very informative and free of conspiracy craziness.
We should all watch this very informative presentation and the discuss it in this thread. That would be fun and informative for people not familiar with the true events of 9/11.

Chomsky's comments are just as rational as your's or Darwin's. In fact your comments are even more rational because you've dared to look at the evidence. That makes you more of an expert on the topic of the possible 9/11 conspiracy than Chomsky.
Chomsky is an authority on politics only when staying within the realm of the left/right paradigm. But guess what? It's all a scam.
Where Noam will not roam: Chomsky manufactures consent, supports the official stories of 9/11 and JFK http://www.oilempire.us/chomsky.html

That's a very long read Darwin. What I'm saying is we have the official government report giving the official government explanation. Now as that is being exposed as a lie we get different explanations?
I have a three foot pile of books I'm dying to get through. I really can't imagine myself reading all of that. Is there a particular area I can concentrate on? And who is this guy?

Posted - 10/31/2007 : 06:27:04 The "author" doesn't say pancake collapse?
This FINAL report does. They can't keep changing their stories as the lies get exposed. People trying to say WTC7 fell because of this... are doing the same thing. WTC7 was not even mentioned in the official report.
“But the craziest, most truly unhinged conspiracy theory for the towers falling on 9/11?” Torin asks rhetorically. “Fire.” The official story cannot be recreated by any experiment. NIST is the government agency involved in attempting to model what happened to the world trade center on 9/11, and they fail horribly. NIST never models what happens after the collapse initiation, and even what they do model before that is easily debunked. NIST created 16 separate physics programs to simulate the WTC 1 & 2 collapses and only got 1 to collapse partially. Torin adds, “When they did, [in the computer model] they removed 40% of the structural support.” The cross trusses that the towers received a significant amount of their strength from had to be removed to have a collapse in the computer simulation. Torin then mocks the official story, “There’s no such thing as a ‘pancake’ collapse, but there is a progressive collapse”A few slides are shown of progressive collapses throughout the world. None of them are anything like what happened to the world trade center with its pulverized concrete 100 microns or smaller just seconds after the start of collapse, and then its complete destruction. Torin uses his expertise to explain to the audience how and why a real progressive collapse occurs and subsequently why the WTC was not a progressive collapse. “The biggest problem with the argument,” Torin explains. “Time.”

Posted - 10/30/2007 : 09:51:05 That's being generous in favor of the official version. Trying to get the pancake collapse explanation to fit in with how fast those towers actually fell. Floors collapsing onto one another and hence causing the next lower floor to collapse would take much more than one second per each collapse.
Where is the giant pile of floors at ground level? How come the top potion of the tower that leaned over then disintegrated into dust in mid air? That thing should have fallen over then down into the street below as one big chunk.

Posted - 10/30/2007 : 03:47:19 That 20 second reference may actually be correct. I have a quote from one of the many examples that states ten seconds, but I'm watching a video that shows closer to twenty of one of the main towers. If I'm seeing it correctly. (linked below).
Even twenty seconds is too fast for the pancake theory type collapse offered by the official explanation. One floor collapsing onto another and causing subsequent floor collapsing would not be free fall. Even being generous and allowing one second per floor you'd end up in the 90 - 110 second per tower time range. Don't you think?
And the clip still supports 7 seconds for wtc7
Also listen the the explosions recorded in the video.
Thanks D
Why Did the Trade Center Skyscrapers Collapse? by Morgan Reynolds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Morgan_Reynolds http://www.lewrockwell.com/reynolds/reynolds12.html Each WTC building collapse occurred at virtually free-fall speed (approximately 10 seconds or less).

Posted - 10/29/2007 : 23:34:26 It took 15 to 20 seconds (page 42). Eight seconds is how long it took the first pieces that fell off the building to hit the ground. I haven't read all 179 pages, but Ryan Mackey is rational and qualified.

Posted - 10/29/2007 : 23:03:18 I'll cheerily check this out but no amount of low budget websites can explain the towers falling at free fall speed. THE BUILDINGS TOOK THE PATH OF MOST RESISTANCE, AND FELL AS IF THERE WAS NO RESISTANCE. Comprende' slaves? Does no one have any fucking common sense? 110 story buildings do not fall to the ground in under ten seconds. What kind of fluoride sucking fool do you have to be to believe that?
Not you Steve, just ranting.

Posted - 10/26/2007 : 13:39:20 I just want everyone to notice the dementia. All the signs are there, but, the need to reinforce a sense of self importance and superiority is obvious in every post (SLAVES!).
This is about insecurity and self loathing. Conspiracy theorists don't like the part of themselves that isn't involved in the fight against world-wide domination...and Sasquatch...and women in the workplace for that matter.
The kicker is KOK doesn'r REALLY believe this stuff, but, he can't let go of the self rightousness that comes along with it. He can't even begin to address the NUMBER ONE issue that all conspiracy theories must overcome and is even more revealing in the 9/11 trash: Where are the conspirators? Not one of the thousands necessary (afterall, people at CNN and the BBC new in advance and reported it!) to pull off this tragedy have broken or even made a mistake?? Its absurd on its face. YOU GOTTA WANT TO BELIEVE it folks. BADLY. It doesn't make a bit of sense any other way. |
