contestants will be judged on creativity, originality, carving skill, personality and Frank Black relatedness.
a panel of judges will announce the winners on November 1st. (the panel consists of myself, lbf, mangykid, poopsmoothie, hi_ksa, denis, zz06 and yaz1967)

ps, some kids "pumpkin'd" my car. as in, threw a pumpkin on the windshield and smashed pumkin all over it. i haven't had a chance to get it washed so there are dried up crusty pumpkin remains all over it
i feel like this is only the beginning of the karmic payback for my childhood (filled with pumpkin smashing, egging, toilet papering and vandalism in general) |

Zurich (AP) - The International Carver Association of Rock Pumpkins (ICRAP) has announced that both contestants in this year's Frank Black Pumpkin Carving Contest have been disqualified from this year's competition due to irregularities in their tested urine samples. In both cases, tests of A samples detecting irregularities that further confirmed in B samples. The detected banned substance was not announced by ICRAP, but an official, who did not want to identified talking about private test results, raised a pinched thumb and finger to his mouth and quickly inhaled when asked what banned substance was detected. Mr. poopsmoothie, head of the ICRAP disciplinary committee, said that further punishments would be discussed at the next ICRAP meeting in Rio de Janiero. |
