Anyone else seen it?
Funniest thing i've seen in a long time. There's some great comedic acting in it

So yeah, just watching Knocked Up, about half way through and this song comes on and I'm like is that a Frank Black song? So I google it and up comes this thread, but no mention of the song. Good film so far, quite funny.

I, too, wasn't amazed by Knocked Up, but I'd place Superbad squarely on par with 40 Year Old Virgin

After seing 40 year old Virgin I was desperate to see Knocked Up. I think the latter was a terrible movie in comparison with the first (some good lines of course, but in general pretty bad). Now I have high hopes for Superbad, I hope Seth Rogen can win my comedyheart back.

I'm really disappointed in you.

In somewhat related news, Joey Santiago did the music for Undeclared.

Anyone notice who did the music? Lyle Workman.

I've seen both Undeclared and Freaks and Geeks. I loved them both. Never seen them on dvd over here though. Which is a shame

I'm anxious to see Superbad, but haven't done so yet. I'm a huge Seth Rogen fan ever since getting hooked on Freaks and Geeks however many years ago.

s_wrenn - did you guys get Freaks and Geeks in Ireland when it came out? Brilliant sitcom, and thus it was promptly cancelled after one season. Same went for Undeclared, another fucking hilarious sitcom about a group of freshmen starting university. Cancelled after one season. Both are available on DVD. It's nice to see Seth getting some hits on his own without Judd Apatow heading things up. Seth wrote a few episodes of Undeclared, as I recall, but this his first full length feature. He also co-wrote The Pineapple Express, a self-described "weed action flick" set to drop next year. Premise seems pretty funny - I'll probably go see it.

Knocked Up was funny, but I understand it pales in comparison with Superbad. I need to get out and see it this weekend.

I saw Knocked Up last night. I wasn't terribly impressed to be honest.

I'm going to try and see Knocked Up next week. But i doubt that it can top Superbad.
I went to a late showing of it, and even though the cinema wasn't packed out, there was a great audience atmosphere. Near the end of the movie people were even cheering for McLovin
I'm going to stick my neck out and say it's one of the funniest movies of the 00's
Yes, awkward, horny, teenage boys are that funny.

This an Knocked Up seem to be getting surprizingly good press.

It was a blast. It had a lot of instant classic scenes in it.
