Posted - 08/25/2007 : 21:36:25 I'm asking cause I'm really amazed by some of the live recordings and videos I've seen of them. So if anyone here has seen them, I'm intrested in hearing your experience.

Posted - 08/28/2007 : 22:51:01 Radiohead is definitely one of my favorite live bands. They felt down to earth, playing a small venue, when I saw them around the time of The Bends, even though it was a major release. |

Posted - 08/28/2007 : 11:18:18 They appear to be the best...when you're upfront with the sweaty boys and girls. They appear to super lame...when you're sitting in the stands.
I just didn't connect emotionally without the synergy from the audience. |

Posted - 08/26/2007 : 00:49:40 I don't think they're the best live band (for me, that would be Pear Jam) but they're pretty good. I own a live recording or two from the post-Kid A era and enjoy them quite a bit. I've seen them twice, once for Amnesiac and once for...I forget what the new album is called. They re-work some songs and extend them, which I enjoy. I think in the past they stuck to the album arrangements in the live setting, which doesn't interest me.
The first time I saw them they played a rockin' version of Packt like Sardines...it was the same melody but completey rockified. It was amazing and a highlight of the show. They also performed Like Spinning Plates for the first time which was another great moment. Idioteque, National Anthem and Everything in its Right Place were definite stand-outs for me.
If they tour again, I'd make it a point to see them.
