anyone familiar with his work? music or art? i think he was the perfect balance to westie's folkieness, i mean 'car camping' (man i love that song) has a burp in it for pete's sake. let's hear it for chris mars.

Posted - 08/26/2007 : 00:27:18 yes he was in the 'mats. he sometimes sounds like one of the john's from TMBG when he sings, he has put out 4 solo albums (?). i especially like 75% less fat. his song subjects are fun sometimes, a balance to paul westerberg's tendency to the seriousness. on that first album he played all the instruments i believe. i think he was in golden smog also but i haven't got around to checking them out.
