Seen them live a few years back and headin again to see em in Dublin. Shud be good. |

Posted - 06/19/2010 : 18:43:27 I am loving High Violet by the National. Can't seem to stop listening to it when I get in my car. Only problem: the disc wont read in my macbook pro. I even bought a 2nd copy thinking the disc was defective, but it has the same problem. Saw a thread online that others have had some issues with the disc not playing in their computers too.
Otherwise, beautiful cd. Bloodbuzz Ohio is freaking great. Actually, whole cd is pretty great start to finish.
I'd rather be anywhere or doing anything |

Posted - 09/26/2007 : 02:04:22 Well I got into alligator first (and think it is indeed superior). It is more varied and if "Abel" isn't pixiesque, well i dunno what is. First 3 and last 3 tracks are stellar. Alligator is prob. in my top 2 or 3 of albums i listened to in the last 5 years... |

The National are fantastic. I've been especially obsorbed with them lately again. Been listening to the "White Sessions". Really good. And I just ordered Alligator. We'll see if it's really better than Boxer (I doubt it, Boxer is... fuck. It's good).

Posted - 08/14/2007 : 05:01:29 I know Speedy has talked about it here somewhere (new music thread I think). I haven't heard it yet, only a couple of tracks. I really like Alligator though, so I will check it out eventually.
I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place
