You've probably heard...
The I-35W bridge in Minneapolis collapsed on Wednesday. It was built in 1967. Here's a link to the story: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/20085333/

saw it on the news the night before we crossed the mackinaw (or however you spell it) bridge. that was reasuring.

Hi KFS, I am doing fine, thanks for asking... A few years ago that was my regular commute but I have since moved and switched jobs. I always hated driving over that bridge the lanes would narrow as you got on it and it never seemed to be the most stable thing in the world either... I am sorry to hear about all the people whose lives were impacted by this...but I am glad it wasn't worse, either.
