Same with Torres, thought he would be a cert to start but hasnt started the last two. One week left and then he is gone.

I had Gilberto as captain. I made that decision because I wasn't sure if Fabregas would play and was certain Gilberto would. I've missed out there big time.

Making Van Persie captina was a big mistake. I hate how Wenger and Benitez tinker with their team all the time. I guess that's why they don't win titles now.

Yeah we have Black Helicoptors Inc. at 339th overall in the FEPL! Guess who's on his team?

If I didn't have Fabregas as captain, I'd be dead last. Fantasy is a weird thing. I was was of those doubters that Arsenal would even be in the top 8, and now they're hot property.

Qu'ils aillent se faire foutre <-- yeah, what he said.
pixiestu Posted - 09/23/2007 : 13:42:34
Seems a few had Adebayor and Fabregas which was a great move. It seems to be a high scoring week overall.

And yet......

"We pay 4million for a player half as good as Hulse then theres talk of us selling Hulse for 2million hmmmm"

Another poor week, I held off on the wildcard to see if the current squad could turn it around, they couldn't so seven have them have gone. Now for my ascendence! I hope. If only there was a championship league imagine how many points Beattie would have. 4 Man of the match 6 goals and 3 assists in 6 games.

That is pretty funny. We United fans are known for our wit.

Oh yeah, I meant to mention that I told this joke to all my friends that follow the EPL and you cracked them up. We don't get good subtle humor about sports in the USA, just "IN YOUR FACE! EXTREME!" SportsCenter crap. I love the EPL broadcast where they have 2 drunk fans from each team playing commenting on the game. It's the best comedy on TV.

Thanks, thanks, I'll be here all week.

The fanzone commentary can be very funny. Sometimes it can be very annoying, but that probably depends on who they support.

I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place

See, for us Yanks we get totally new old jokes. This week they had AV Vs Man City, and one Man U texter wrote in, "why are all the Man City supporters dressed up as empty seats?" - which had me falling off the couch. The fan zone guys said it was such an old joke only a Man U supporter would still use it.

I thought it was funny. Maybe by "season 2" the jokes will get old, but for now, these guys crack me up even though I can't understand half of what they say....

I am top of the league, say I am top of the league! I'll try to watch the Newcastle game tonight to see how N'Zogbia does.

Yeah you've got to feel sorry for him, just as he had gotten himself in the England team. And now Rooney is back.

Yeah, worst performace I've seen in a long time that. To make it worse Sir Emile Heskey went off within ten minutes with a suspected broken metatarsal.

Could be worse, I could have had him in my fantasy team.

I bet you are. Sounds like you were pretty lucky today.

I took the captaincy of Torres (good move seeing as he wasn't playing) and gave it to Owen, who I just transferred in, in place of Drogba.

Why the hell did I swap my captain? Fabregas scored today. Plus I put Koumas on the bench since he pulled out of the Wales squad injured. Only bloody scored a penalty.

Saying that I'm glad he scored it!

So after a two week break it's back. Anyone made any major changes? I've made two, one through injury.

Well since most people have more than a few Chelsea players, I think it was a rough week for everyone. Schmeichel is my secret weapon so far.

After a disasterous start Im using my wildcard next week, 8th and nearly 60points off the pace isn't good enough.

I can't believe I didn't see this thread months ago. Dammit. I must not forget to play next season.

For the first time this season I chosoe my captain wisely. Tranferred Torres in and made him captain. Good move.
