Posted - 07/07/2007 : 19:08:22 Is anybody else watching this? Is it a big deal? Seems enjoyable enough so far. Weird, though, that all these rock stars seem to consider Al Gore a rock star. He's kind of a goober, isn't he?
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

I'm exhausted, but I still haven't seen any change in the climate.

Posted - 07/10/2007 : 10:40:08 I saw some of it, it was shit though, so I put Jerry Springer on. There was a dwarf dressed as a genie. Far more entertaining.

Manuel wants to keep his pet rat. Manuel: Mrs. Fawlty, please understand. If he go, I go! Basil Fawlty: Well, goodbye!
Hopefully before Razorlight or Snow Patrol release another record.
Global warming is just the heat coming off the steaming piles of shit that are those two bands.
And they were just the two I can remember.

Posted - 07/09/2007 : 04:54:31 I wasn't able to stand it for very long. Some of the music may have been ok but the stench of hypocrisy was overpowering.
Ricky Gervais and Chris Rock were very funny for 5 minutes though when talking to Jonathan Ross. After a question from Ross, Ricky Gervais suggested that climate change would now be sorted out just like world hunger was after the live 8 concert. I think that summed up the whole day very well.

Posted - 07/08/2007 : 13:09:29 I switched on to find the Chillis doing a pretty good rendition of By The Way. Also saw a bit of Bloc Party and Corinne Bailey Rae. Tragically, I missed Spinal Tap. And I wouldn't have minded seeing Metallica.
