It definitely wasn't AS good. Much better in fact.

"Aw yeah, that's the good stuff!"
I haven't seen it, but you make a good point. Still, I find with most of these digitally animated movies: most characters seen fairly anthropomorphic after watching them for an hour and a half on the big screen. I can't wait to see this though because I love food and cooking, even if a few rats are rooting about in it all the while.

Posted - 07/01/2007 : 06:39:17 Just to be safe, we went out to a nice restaurant before the movie. The rats-in-the-kitchen thing is a little hard to shake after watching it.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |

Posted - 06/30/2007 : 22:27:11 it's funny the impact movies may have on the public. "the fast and the furious" made kids want to street race, "sideways" made everyone hate merlot (not to mention a wine buff), and a movie where a RAT prepares food makes people want to eat.

Posted - 06/30/2007 : 06:06:19 I took my family to it last night. We went in with high expectations, after watching a 9-minute preview a couple weeks ago, and we weren't disappointed. It's an interesting twist on "Cyrano de Bergerac."
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs. |
