Posted - 06/06/2007 : 22:38:36 is anyone else depressed that Bob Barker is retiring from Price Is Right? he's been a mainstay in my life ever since.. i was born. and he's been there for us, through thick and thin. and i've been there for him (i fully supported him during the Barker Beauty scandal, and still do)..
it's been a long time dream of mine to go on Price Is Right and win at Plinko (before going on to the showcase showdown).. i'm trying to cope with the fact that this will never happen, but it is hard.
thanks for the memories Bob

Posted - 06/07/2007 : 12:47:03 I liked the cliff hanger game. I also thought that Bob was excellent in Happy Gilmore.
Maybe I will grin but I won’t bear

Posted - 06/07/2007 : 11:39:50 I remember always watching this, Card Sharks, Password, and 20,000 Pyramid when I was home sick from school. Like 25 years ago.
Jeez, I can't believe he was still hosting that show all this time.
When Barney went on on "How I Met Your Mother" it was the best cameo of all times. Barney thinks Bob Barker is his father. Gotta love NPH.

I always loved this show. They'll replace Bob Barker with a new host and continue, but it won't be the same. I'd rather watch re-runs with Bob. My favorite game is the one where the little guy climbs the mountain and that hilarious song plays. The goal is for him to not fall off the cliff. Remember that one? Followed closely by Plinko. Good call, floop.
Please pardon me, for these my wrongs.
Cliff Hangers

"Not long before Cliff Hangers debuted, model Janice Pennington's first husband went missing in the Swiss Alps. Janice can be observed to be visibly shaken up on the air during early playings of the game." |

Posted - 06/07/2007 : 08:02:34 I liked the dice one where you'd roll and then pick if the digit was higher or lower for each digit in the price of a car. Ahhhh many schoolyear lunches spent eating macaroni and watching the Price is Right.

Posted - 06/07/2007 : 00:16:16 One of my first memories is our one-legged house cleaner watching Bob on The Price is Right while she ironed. Ahhh, those were the days. He really has been a constant.
I'm surprised you didn't go for Flip-flop

My choice. Putting with Bob on Hole in One
