Posted - 05/23/2007 : 11:00:55 No, I haven't seen it yet (although I've been trying to), but I thought this should have a thread in General Chat; there are three in General Frank Black, but seeing as he's not in it....anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing it, and it's gotten some positive reviews, so I'm gonna indulge my compulsion for links again:

Posted - 08/28/2007 : 02:13:32 I saw it too, two months ago, and I really liked it, from the beginning 'til the end. Good way of constructing the plot and the action, great actors, and very good music.

Posted - 08/27/2007 : 12:45:07 I saw this last month. I really enjoyed it. Was Frank supposed to be in it? I remember the talk but didn't really follow what was going on.

Posted - 08/27/2007 : 12:41:39 Watched it last night, and enjoyed it, although you have to allow for the inconclusive ending. It's nice to see Fincher mature as a filmmaker-it may be about a (real-life) serial killer, but it's about as different from Se7en as possible. Nice period detail, very well made and some nice performances (Downey Jr. in particular). Somebody mentioned before that they thought the shadowy killer who gets into the taxi looked a bit like FB, there is sort-of a resemblance! And, as also mentioned before, Pong makes an appearance, but what's really kinda spooky is the killer spelling Christmas "Christmass" in a letter!! |

Posted - 05/25/2007 : 01:54:39 I really enjoyed it, almost like two seperate films. The first however long I was like, "why the hell is Jake Gylenhall(sp?) even in this film?" very very interesting story, specially considering its 'true'. Made me want to go read more about it, alot of mystery surrounds this blah blah, im still drunk!

Posted - 05/24/2007 : 05:55:00 I liked this movie. Downey Jr was great as was the music selection.
It's good that film didn't focus on glorifying the killer.

Posted - 05/23/2007 : 15:35:56 It was pretty good
It was a minor touch but I liked the old Paramount and Warner Bros. logos at the start. Does anyone else think the top-down view of the cab driving through the city was cgi? It was very GTA
