Posted - 05/22/2007 : 15:12:08 I didn't realise this list was still active... i went back and had to look at some of the posts in the days before this site was set up... and my word, it was the shit.
also, curious to see how many of the originals are still hanging round... [insert feeling of superiority over anyone who didn't join fb.net in september 2002]

Posted - 05/29/2007 : 01:22:33 This reminds me of a great thread from the early days of the forum - well, I liked it. Even more amazing, I found it. Thank your lucky stars, we could now be posting in the Black Chatty:

Posted - 05/28/2007 : 11:22:37 FrankBlackMusic.com that sure was my choice. If yahoo hand't of made it advertisement driven I'm sure we'd still be there. Anything with FrankBlack in it would have been a good choice.

Posted - 05/25/2007 : 12:10:02 Did anyone used to post on a FB themed geocities board, I think called 'The Radcliffes'?
I posted on there a bit back in the early 21st century, but then went two years without a pc or regular net hookup, and when I returned it was dead...
And now Im gonna sing the Perry Mason theme.... |

Posted - 05/23/2007 : 06:44:52 I completely forgot about that mailing list. I don't remember when i joined. I think it was 2000. That spring or summer, I remember a great Madison, WI show being posted on MP3, where almost all the Dog in the Sand songs were played live for the first time. And I recall the Sunday Sunny Mill Valley Groove Day leak.
Back then I had a habit of joining mailing lists and then never posting to them and barely even reading them. |
