I've only heard one song from the album so far.
Does anyone know if the song they recorded for Six Fett Under will be on it?

On my 3rd listen of the new Interpol album. Not convinced that it's matched the first two as yet. Probably need more time. Enjoying the high energy 'Mammoth'

Cut City sound pretty decent (at least the stuff on myspace). May invest in their cd - cheers to Malax for pointing this one out.

I might give them a try, thanks.

It didn't someone had just renamed two Cut City tracks. Im not implying Cut City are better just that their album is worth checking out, especially if you like the more 'dancy' upbeat Interpol songs.

I've listened to it a few times now and a few songs stand but (Threesome the standout imo) I've not quite got hooked on the whole album yet, give it time perhaps. I still think the Cut City LP is actually better than this and Antics.

I got the album today, but had heard it via MTV's the leak before. If you haven't got it get you should. Its better than Antics in my opinion, and overall is a very beautiful LP.

Oh by the way, just thought this might interest you, but I've just launched my new Interpol fan site: http://www.interpolonline.com. Check it out!

Got my copy today
I was tempted to pay €10 more and get the special edition w/ the post and all, but I thought it probably wouldn’t be worth it.

Any way, on a first listen I thought it was pretty good.

Something I didn’t like though:

I got the leaked Our Love To Admire. I like it more than Antics, but not as much as Turn On The Bright Lights. I'm looking forward to seeing them at The Borgata in Atlantic City July 20th.

Mislabeled in what way? Both Mammoth and Heinrich Manuever are Interpol songs.

I just heard the single "The Heimrich Maoeuvre", but I'm not very fond of it.

Good cover.

I've dug this up because I stumbled across 9 'new' interpol tracks the other day, presuming it was the album I downloaded, listened, enjoyed. I then check the tracklist for the album and its completely different. My question, what the hell is this?

1.Like Ashes
2.The Heimrich Maoeuvre
3.Numb Boys
4.Anticipation
5.Mammoth
6.Such Verve
7.Rival Trial
8.Just Pornography (For ME)
9.The Dull Miles (Exit Decades)

This is what I imagine Floop's existence to be like. I don't really know why.

Interspersed with important phone calls and executive visits. Maybe they wrote Get Shorty about him, who knows?

I was mostly confused by the formating.

The thing is most males aren't in prides. They are in small groups of males and they hunt for their food.

More interesting lion trivia: when a new male takes over a pride he tries to kill all of the cubs. By doing this he causes the females to more quickly become fertile. The beauty and balance of nature <a joke>.

Yeah I heard that about the killing of the young I think.

As much as I like Interpol, this thread has become more interesting now.

Oh I just thought he really didn't understand my post.

But it's true, most of the hunting is done by the females.

Homers do not, repeat do NOT get into an argument about lions with an evolutionary biologist.

You said that male and female lions don't often hunt together. I was just adding that male lions don't often hunt at all.
