Hey. This is just one of those things that I randomly thought about and now its bugging me. I figure someone here should know the answer. The only way I can describe the band is from a music video. For starters, I'm pretty sure it's late 80's. If memory serves me right, the video mainly revolves around a bunch of weird people in a tree. I'm pretty sure that the lead singer takes a hammer or an axe and hits the tree at one point. This is really all I have to go by. I'm sure someone will know the answer to this. Thanks.

Yeah I got the singles collection not too long ago, and that came on and it was like WOW HOW'VE I NOT HEARD THIS BEFORE?!! Then of course there's Making Plans for Nigel, then The Ballad of Peter Pumpkinhead, that I'd heard as a kid but had no idea who it was by and hadn't heard it for years and years, still I need exactly how it went, must have played it loads as a child.

Listening to their songs it seems clear they influenced quite a bit of the current music. Respect!

Yeah when I first got into them, I was amazed how many songs I had heard as a child. They must have gotten quite a bit of radio airplay.

I'd walk her everyday, into a shady place
