Aka Cricket World Cup 2007
I believe there has been no bigger shambles of a major sporting event than this, ever! Not one single thing went right. I think I counted the word "farce" or "farcical" approx 40 times reading different articles dissecting the event.
The ICC (Cricket's governing body) need a broom through it like there's no tomorrow. Useless!
For the record, Australia defeated Sri Lanka by 53 runs in the Final.
See you in 2011.
