Posted - 04/15/2007 : 01:59:29 Just downloaded the first 3 episodes of this final season of Shield. Would like to hear anyones opinion about this season, what they reckon will happen, what the think of it etc. Season 5 was the best season so far, and this being the final I have high hopes.
Right I am gonna watch the first episode and then post more later.

Posted - 04/17/2007 : 04:21:56 Its just gripping... you should definately get this starting from the first series. Very rarely do you get a series that improves like Shield. The first few seasons were outstanding, but the last two are even better.
It's a cop show... LA based about a gang of crooked cops, who despite being corrupt, you actually get to like. It's gritty stuff and better than any other series on air right now. Download the first season and take it from there (but don't be put off by the pilot episode, which is not that good... but is important for the rest of the 6 series).
Enjoy!

Posted - 04/17/2007 : 00:08:09 Hmm... This thread makes me curious.
Having just finished the most recent season of my favorite (crime) series, The Wire, and the next fix of it a couple of months away, I'm looking for something help me through this time of forced withdrawal.
What's the series about? Why do you think it is so outstanding? |

Posted - 04/16/2007 : 19:44:53 Just downloaded the first three episodes... Man, I love this series, by far my favorite series ever.
I dunno what will happen, but so far the three episodes have not dissapointed. I think the obvious thing to happen is that Shane comes clean about the murder, and in turn Vic kills him. Kavanaugh I think is out of it now, I don't think he'll play another part in the series, but Dutch has taken from where he has left off so maybe he will uncover something significant, which puts Vic in the shithouse again.
I am gutted that this is the final season. Its shaping up to be better than Series 5, but all seasons have been consistently excellent.
