I love this album. Came out on Monday from Noah of Animal Collective fame. Took me a good few listens to 'get' it but it came. People keep comparing Panda Bear to Brian Wilson/Beach Boys/Pet Sounds. They're not half wrong.

Anyone else like Panda Bear/Animal Collective?

Person Pitch is a great title though, I love the sound of those words together.

Nothing is ever something.

I've been slowly getting into Animal Collective, and have heard a few Panda Bear tunes on the radio. Good stuff, but I prefer Animal Collective - haven't heard much from them that has not appealed to me.

Nothing is ever something.

This is quite misleading (ahem) actually; when I mention those comparisons, don't expect songs quite as 'straight-up' as Brian Wilson's. They're still very much in the Animal Collective vain... and ace! I recommend.
