This is another band I've just discovered. I've just been able to listen to their EP called "Silver" for the moment, but it's awesome. Four long tracks, that sound like crossroads between My Bloody Valentine and Sunn 0))) (yeah I know, everyboy compares them to MBV, but it's true there's a lot of similarities).
The wall of guitars is very distorted and low (lots of guitars in there), and it contrats with the little sampled melodies and the soft ethereal voice of Justin Broadrick (who also played with Napalm Death, Godflesh, Techno Animal and Sunn 0)))). The songs are very dark and repetitive, but very intense too. It's very noisy but also very melodic, and it sounds like an evidence.
Their new album ("Conqueror") is just out, so I'll try to catch it soon.

Highly recommended.

wow...

I don't know Godflesh very well, but Jesu is definitely not nihilistic. I would say that it's very dark, but there's still hope and light.

In a nihilistic and dehumanized way.
