I’ve been following this show from the beginning and even though I loved the whole carver-mystery-thing of season 3, I’m far more impressed with the way season 4 is panning out (I‘m about half way through, so no spoilers please!) It’s always been OTT, but it seems to be comfortably normal within the context of the show. And I like that a lot.
There are a few niggling elements left lingering from the season 3 finale, and I wish they would just rap that up. Seriously, what happened with cherry peck and the nazi family? On the other hand seeing Escobar back is such a nice touch.
I’ve recently found out that it has been renewed for a 5th season. Honestly? I hope it’s the last one. I love Nip/Tuck, and I’m surprised it’s been this good for 4 full seasons, but I would hate to see it get jaded.

Just bought the first 3 seasons for €19.99 each i'll try and have it all watched before season 5.
It's starting in the US near the end of this month, so it'll be a while brfore it gets over here

There was a break for two weeks. I nearly died!
I thought liz would shoot the wife. I liked how they tied the season 4 finale with the pilot episode (The ham and alligators or were they crocs?)

I take it all back. The show just got way better. Bring on season 5!
Overall the finale was great (the singing montage was…okay) As for season 4, the future episode and the Christmas episode were a little off, but at least they made up part of the main storyline.
I can now see Nip/Tuck possibly running for a few more seasons. It feels like it’ll be a big change to the show, and I can’t wait!

I'm watching season 4 but I'm behind s_wrenn. Yesterday's episode was the one where that woman's pitbull bites her nipple off.
I missed most of season 3 though so I'm a bit lost.
