LOS ANGELES, California (Reuters) -- Iggy Pop's pioneering punk rock group the Stooges will release their first album since 1973 on March 20, and will promote it with a world tour.
"The Weirdness," a Steve-Albini-produced set including such tracks as "Greedy Awful People" and "End of Christianity," will be released by Pop's Virgin Records label.

Posted - 12/15/2006 : 10:02:05 I really enjoy listening to Mike Watt's podcast - "Watt From Pedro Show"
he'll play tunes for about 1/2 hour and then talk with Brother Matt for about 1/2 hour. Each podcast is about 3 hours long. He's always just returned from this tour or that and is full of interesting and funny stories. Lately he's been talking a lot about touring and recording with the Stooges.
ya'll should check it out if you're interested |
