Anyone watching this new HBO show? I thought for sure it would be lame, but my girlfriend and i are loving it. It is a sitcom created by and starring stand up comic Louis C.K. The show takes the ordinary sitcom and turns it on its head. Basically, situations that would normally pop up on a sitcom happen in a much more 'real' way. Like there is one where Louie spends the rent money on a Frankenstein doll from the 1930s - its a pretty funny commentary on collecting stuff and how easy the internet makes it to blow your finances. A lot of frank sex talk and whatnot, but very very funny.

So, am i the only one watching this?

The episodes are getting better and better. Yeah definitely wouldn't want to watch it with my mom, but my wife and I are loving it. There are so many moments when we look at each other like oops, yeah I know I did that once or twice, sorry. The episode where he gets the DUI is classic. There is a link on LouisCK.com where you can sign up for tickets for show tapings. I think they're done for this season, but I think the ratings will justify HBO keeping it going. I would love to be in that crowd.

It's crack. It's great. It gets you really high.

Unfortunately, we don't have HBO anymore, but I went to a hotel the other day, and was watching that show. It reminds me of King Of Queens a lot, but it's a great show anyway.

Yeah, Lucky Louie is great. It's probably the rawest sitcom I've ever seen. I just picked up HBO On Demand a month ago and I've been digging it. I understand the studio audience is just pulled randomly from crowds. "Hey, wanna watch a sitcom filming?" "Sure.." Imagine going in there thinking you're going to see some lame sitcom and seeing this! Funny story: the first time I watched it I was visiting my mom who also has on demand, and we lit off the first episode. Good, funny, edgy. We put the next one on where Louie is trying to spice up the bedroom life... Needless to say, it was a little uncomfortable watching that one with mom. Anyway, I'm looking forward to more seasons.

I thought I mentioned this somewhere, but maybe not. I'm loving this show it's become the show that I look forward to. I really like that it feels almost like you're watching a play. I had my reservations and almost didn't give it a chance but I'm very glad I did now.

"Hey fuck you if you don't like it."

I was excited about this show coming out because of some Mr. Show alumni being involved but I gotta say I haven't been all that impressed with it, it has it's moments but it's been pretty mediocre so far in my opinion. Oddly enough, I think my favorite part of the show is the music.

Wait a minute, strike that. Reverse it.
