Posted - 08/08/2006 : 11:06:38 Watched some of Spider Man on TV last night...I'm looking forward to S3. The first one had some silly parts (The Green Goblin didn't really work for me-the suit was a bit crappy, Willem Dafoe is good enough without that clunky, blocky, plastic crap), and some very dodgy CG, but it had a heart and a sense of humour. I definitely goes in the 'Good' superhero-movie box, althought the sequel is a vast improvement, keeping the focus on the human element, great effects, and a sharper sense of humour. It managed to balance the drama and the action sequences nicely. Not forgetting the cast, especially Alfred Molina. So I'm looking forward to the next one.

Read what "mfisher-17" says:
Way much better then the 1st!!!, 17 May 2006 7/10 Author: mfisher-16 from United States
Problem Child 2. Way much better then the 1st!!! How come this movie at the front of the page of Problem Child 2 it only has 3 stars??? Are them people dumb or what??? I have this movie myself, and it's not the best i've ever seen, but better then the 1st!!!
This film of Problem Child 2 has new characters, town, and humor!!! That's what makes this film so great! It still has John Ritter and Michiael Oliver(Ben Healy and Junior), the hilarious characters from Problem Child 1, now in Problem Child 2!!!
Rated PG-13. For Violence, language, and humor. Recommentations: Problem Child, Problem Child 3: Junior in love, Home Alone, or Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. Genre: Comedy, little Drama
Problem Child 2(1991) ***(three stars for the TV guide)
What were they thinking? "Way much"? |

Posted - 08/03/2006 : 11:35:35 Yeah, INLAND EMPIRE should be excellent (Maybe Lynch can finally get back to finishing off the Twin Peaks season 2 dvd after that) X-Files 2 is meant to begin production in January 2007, but i've heard things like that dozens of times in the last four years. I wonder if Robert Rodriguez is putting his back to back shooting of Sin City 2 & 3 on hold while he makes that double-bill horror thingy with QT. I'm hoping they release 2 & 3 within a couple of months of each other

Posted - 08/03/2006 : 10:04:22 Pocket Ninjas is overall just a bunch of 30 minute training scenes (literally 30 minutes), and 3-year old humor that even 3-year olds don't find funny. I still like it, for some reason. It was rated the worst movie ever on imdb.com, I think.

Posted - 08/03/2006 : 08:02:48 Yeah, I'm looking forward To Pan's Labyrinth (which is actually due for release this year) and Zodiac too, and Sin City 2 as well, I suppose...Grind House sounds like it could be a blast, too. Peter Jackson's adaptation of Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones is suppossedly due next year, but there's been no word on it, I imagine they're still wonrking on the script. I'm really looking forward to The Simpsons movie...Christopher Guest's (if you will) mockumentary For Your Consideration (featuring Ricky Gervais), David Lynch's Inland Empire, which was filmed in Poland, featuring Laura Dern and Harry Dean Stanton (and Jermey Irons), Spider Man 3, The Fountain, Shrek The Third might be fun...The Bourne Ultimatum (director Paul Greengrass also did The Bourne Supremacy, I like what he did with that) could be good....there's also some movies which kind of interest me but could be a load of coswallop: Young Hannibal: Behind The Mask, Ghost Rider, Brian De Palma's James Ellroy adaptation The Black Dahlia, Transformers, Frank "Sin City" Miller adaptation 300, and The Hitcher remake with Sean Bean.
Mr. Bean's Holiday is bound to be fabulous, too. *insert infamous wink smiley here*
